Zoltan Szabo
Interests: Dr. Szabo accomplishments in medical research and education have primarily been in magnified surgery, beginning with microsurgery in 1972 (Reconstructive Neurovascular, Fertility surgery, Urology, Ophthalmology) and subsequently in laparoscopic surgery two decades later (general, gynecology, urology, fetal, and cardiovascular Robotic surgery).

Manabu Yamamoto
Interests: Manabu Yamamoto, MD PhD, Director and Chairman, Adachi Kyosai Hospital, Tokyo, Japan
Dr. Yamamoto started his endoscopic career during the surgical internship in 1985. He did more than 500 procedures per year using flexible endoscopy including UGI, colonoscopy, ERCP, EST, polypectomy, hemostasis and EIS/EVL other than the surgeries. During his fellowship at University of Colorado (1990-1992), he worked closely with Professor Greg Van Stiegmann who pioneered laparoscopic cholecystectomy. This has greatly influenced the future direction of his carrier. Now, he is one of the leading endoscopic surgeon for both Japanese and American societies.

Harry Reich
Interests: Dr. Harry Reich is the immediate past president of the International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy (ISGE) and was honorary chairman of the 2006 AAGL annual meeting. He is known worldwide as a pioneer in the field of laparoscopic surgery. His special interest and expertise include total laparoscopic hysterectomy for the large uterus, excision of rectovaginal endometriosis, adhesion surgery, and prevention and management of laparoscopic complications.

Harold Brem
Interests: Trained as a general surgeon, Harold Brem, MD FACS is the Chief, Division of Wound Healing & Regenerative Medicine, Department of Surgery at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center/RWJ Barnabas Health in Newark, New Jersey.

Steven F. Harwin
Interests: Dr. Harwin specializes in surgery of the hip, knee and shoulder including total hip and knee replacement and arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, ACL ligament reconstruction and rotator cuff disorders. All procedures are performed in a minimally invasive fashion.

Arnaud Wattiez
Professor, University of Strasbourg Head of Gynecological Courses at IRCAD
Interests: Prof. Arnaud Wattiez is Professor at the University of Strasbourg, where he is gynecological surgeon at the Hautepierre Hospital. He has had the distinction to be awarded for his contributions to international teaching in MIGS, honorary professorships at the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Lièges University and the Catholic University of Rome. Since 2004 he has served as Director of Advanced Courses in Gynecological Endoscopy at the Institut de Recherche Contre le Cancer de le Appareil Digestif (IRCAD).

Michael A. Mont
Director of Joint Arthroplasty Department of Orthopaedic Surgery Lenox Hill Hospital Northwell Health New York, New York
Interests: Dr. Mont is an orthopaedic surgeon with extensive experience in lower extremity joint preservation and replacement. Dr. Mont completed medical school at University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, residency at The Mount Sinai Medical Center, and fellowship training in reconstructive surgery at The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, where he specialized in complex total joint revisions and actively participated in different clinical research studies in the area of total joint replacement. Throughout his career, he has performed over 15,000 joint replacements, as well as a countless number of other surgical procedures. Most recently, Dr. Mont served as Chairman in the Department of Orthopaedics at Cleveland Clinic. Currently, Dr. Mont is the System Chief of Joint Reconstruction and Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Northwell Health, Lenox Hill Hospital. He also remains adjunct staff at Cleveland Clinic.

Rifat Latifi
Professor and Chairman of surgery at New York Medical College (NYMC), School of Medicine, and Director of the Department of Surgery at Westchester Medical Center Health Network
Interests: Dr. Latifi’s special clinical interests are in complex re-operative surgery, geriatric surgery, telemedicine, trauma and nutrition support for critically ill patients. He is the author or co-author of more than 250 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, has written or edited 19 books, and serves on the editorial boards of a number of peer-reviewed journals. He is the founding president and Fellow of Kosova College of Surgeons and the Editor-in-Chief of Kosova Journal of Surgery. In addition, he is an associate editor of the Journal of Trauma and Emergency Surgery and section editor of Hernia Journal.

Michael T. Manley
Interests: Dr. Michael Manley graduated with a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland in 1973. He was a faculty member in the Bioengineering Department at that institution from 1971 through 1976, teaching graduate courses and bioengineering research techniques. In 1976, he was appointed Senior Lecturer in Orthopaedic Biomechanics and Biomaterials in the Biomedical Engineering Department, Medical School, University of Cape Town and Groote Schuur Hospital, South Africa. His research in orthopaedics and rehabilitation engineering led to patents and products which continue to be used in that country.
