Call for Editorial Board Members of Surgical Technology International (STI)

Surgical Technology International (STI) is now recruiting Editorial Board Members globally, with the aim of enhancing the journal’s academic quality and international influence, invigorating its development, and building a high-level platform for academic exchange.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Hold a doctoral degree or associate professor title or above;
  • Have research interests in the field of surgery, with a track record of multiple high-quality publications in surgical disciplines;
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork, be committed to the journal’s development, and actively contribute to its growth;
  • Previous experience serving on the editorial board of international journals is highly preferred.

Responsibilities of Editorial Board Members

Including but not limited to:
  1. Manuscript Solicitation: Recommend and solicit high-quality submissions in their respective fields of expertise.
  2. Peer Review: Serve as a reviewer for STI and complete peer review for at least 3 manuscripts per year.
  3. Special Issue Leadership: Lead a special issue aligned with their research area.
  4. Journal Promotion: Promote the journal through major domestic and international academic conferences, academic events, professional networks, and multimedia channels.
  5. Academic Engagement: Attend editorial board meetings regularly, assist in inviting speakers and organizing journal-sponsored events, and collaborate with the journal in planning, hosting, or co-organizing academic conferences and training workshops.
