Call for Youth Editorial Board Members of Surgical Technology International (STI)

Surgical Technology International (STI) is now recruiting Young Editorial Board Members.
 
To further enhance the academic quality and international influence of Surgical Technology International, boost the vitality of journal development, build a high-level academic exchange platform, accelerate the construction of a world-class science and technology journal, and cultivate reserve talents for the Editorial Board, the Editorial Office has decided to establish the Young Editorial Board of Surgical Technology International and is now openly recruiting Young Editorial Board Members globally (term: 2026–2028).

Recruitment Requirements

  • Hold a doctoral degree or associate senior professional title or above; generally aged 45 or below.
  • Research interests related to the field of surgery, with multiple high-quality papers published in surgical disciplines.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit, care about journal affairs, and be willing to actively contribute to the development of the journal.
  • Prior experience as an editorial board member or reviewer for international journals is preferred.

Responsibilities of Young Editorial Board Members

Including but not limited to:
  1. Manuscript Solicitation: Recommend and solicit high-quality papers in your research field based on your connections with domestic and international experts.
  2. Peer Review: Serve as a reviewer for STI as invited, and review at least 3 manuscripts per year.
  3. Lead a Special Issue: Lead one special issue related to your research field.
  4. Journal Promotion: Promote the journal via major domestic and international academic conferences, academic activities, other academic channels, and multimedia platforms.
  5. Academic Activities: Actively participate in Young Editorial Board meetings, undertake invitation of speakers and organization for journal-hosted events, and co‑plan, host, or organize relevant academic conferences or training workshops with the journal.

Term and Evaluation

  1. Term: Each term is 2 years; Young Editorial Board Members for the next term will be dynamically selected based on annual task completion.
  2. Evaluation: A work plan shall be submitted at the beginning of each term; members must participate in at least 3 of the above responsibilities and submit performance certificates of completed work at the end of the year. Annual evaluation will be conducted by the Editorial Board.
