As of April 3, 2026, Surgical Technology International has transferred from Universal Medical Press to AccScience Publishing.

All articles published in Volumes 1–45 will continue to be hosted on the original website (https://archived.surgicaltechnology.com/index.html ), where they remain available under the existing subscription model. New content published by AccScience Publishing in Volume 46 and onward will be hosted on the journal website (https://surgicaltechnology.com/journal/STI) and will be available in full open-access format. Current subscribers will retain access to all subscription-based articles on the original site, which will remain active.
